How To Get There

Location: About 1km offshore from Sairee beach, Muang district

Follow the directions for getting to Sairee beach. From the beach you can charter a long-tailed boat for the 5 minute trip out to the island.

This is one of the many islands in Chumphon province

Koh Ma Prao has a bird's nest concession. The Island has only one white sandy beach about 100 meters long at the west. Other area is full of rocks and cliffs with many caves of the swallow nest. There is no community except the cottages of the workers who take care of the nest. A large number of coconut trees on the island were the source of the name Koh Ma Prao.
