This is one of the many islands in Chumphon province

Koh Mat Ta is a large island with white and clean sandy beach has the sandy beach in the central area and the stone beach at the south. The water is clear for swimming. The coral reef around the island offers the very wonderful diving spot. At the front beach is the path up to the view point where the scenery of the sea and the shore is seen at the farthest sight.

Koh Mat Ta is the habitat of numerous Hairy leg Mountain Crabs Chick Crabs that have the voice sounds like the chick. They usually live at the trees.
