How To Get There

Location: Koh Phangan is about 175km by boat from Chumphon. It's about 75km south of Koh Tao and 25km north of Koh Samui. It is in Surat Thani province.

Directions: There are three boats from Chumphon to Koh Phangan (via Koh Tao) - the Lomprayah catamaran, Seatran Discovery and Songserm express boat.

Koh Phangan is famous for its full moon parties, but also has some very peaceful areas that few tourists reach. Although it's in Surat Thani province, you'll probably end up catching a boat from Chumphon.
