How To Get There

Location: About 5km offshore from Pak Nam Chumphon, Muang district
From Chumphon take highway 4001 and then 4119 to Paradon Phap beach. You may be able to charter a long-tail boat to the island.
You could also take the local bus (rot song taew) to the SIR (Samed Island Resort) pier at Paradon Phap beach.

Koh Samed is a small island near Pak Nam Chumphon. It is only about 5km offshore (the nearest point on the mainland is Pharadon Phap beach)
If you wish to stay at the one resort on the island contact our shop in Chumphon. The resort is open for most of the year, closing during the rainy season of November and December.

From chumphon city, take local bus (Rot Song Taew) along Chumphon - Pak Nam RD. about 13 km. After getting off the bus at SIR Pier on Paradonphab beach, take SIR long tail boat about 10 min. to the resort.
