How To Get There

Location: About 100km from both Surat Thani and Koh Tao, and about 25km from Koh Phangan. Koh Samui is in Surat Thani province.

Directions: There are two boats from Chumphon to Koh Samui (via Koh Tao and Koh Phangan) - the Lomprayah catamaran and Seatran Discovery.
Alternatives include: take a bus or train to Surat Thani - a Songserm express boat covers the Surat Thani - Koh Samui - Koh Phangan route; island hop, spending a few nights on Koh Tao, then Koh Phangan, then Koh Samui; fly from Bangkok, Phuket, etc.
